Welcome to The Loyola School, we are so thankful you found us. We like to consider ourselves one of Baltimore’s best-kept secrets.

The Loyola School (TLS) was founded in 2017 in the heart of the vibrant Mount Vernon neighborhood. Our school’s location has a rich history of Jesuit education as the original location for Loyola College, Loyola High School and Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy. At TLS, a Jesuit institution, one of the most important teaching pillars is the focus on addressing each student as an individual and providing care for the whole person, or cura personalis. This means we nurture our students not only academically, but also physically, emotionally and spiritually.

TLS is a full-scholarship preschool and elementary school for families from underserved Baltimore City communities. The dedicated staff, together with our supportive families and generous donors, provides a quality education that will prepare our young students for success in middle school and in their bright futures.

As we prepare to open our new, state-of-the-art elementary school this summer, we invite you to visit us and tour our new facilities. Spread the word about TLS and help us become one of Baltimore’s premier preschools and elementary schools.
