Happy Mother’s Day

Dear Friend,

As we close Teacher Appreciation Week, I’ve been thinking about where a child’s learning truly begins.

Long before a student walks into a classroom, they are shaped by their first teachers. Those first teachers are the parents, grandparents, and caregivers who nurture, guide, and believe in them from the very start. They are the ones who first show a child what it means to be seen, to be encouraged, and to be loved.

At The Loyola School, we have the privilege of building on that foundation. Every day, we partner with families who have already instilled in their children a sense of possibility. And because of your support, we are able to meet that foundation with the care, attention, and opportunity each child deserves.

We see that partnership come to life in the words of our families:

“The dedication of the teachers and staff makes our family feel welcomed, valued, and connected. TLS is more than a school to us, it’s a place where our child is known, supported, and encouraged to thrive.” – Aja, mother of a 3rd grader

“Knowing my child is in such a caring and structured environment gives us peace of mind. It brings stability to our whole family.” – Precious, mother of a kindergartner

Happy Mother’s Day. We honor those first teachers, and we thank you for helping carry their love forward in our classrooms. Your generosity ensures that every child continues to be known, supported, and reminded of their potential.

With Gratitude for All of You,

James D. Fiore, President
