A Joyful End to a Summer of Discovery

Our summer program has officially come to a close, but not before we packed in a few more memorable experiences!

Kindergarten and first grade students visited the Baltimore Museum of Art, where they explored the galleries and experienced art beyond the classroom. Kindergarten also visited the Sankofa Children’s Museum of African Cultures, where students learned about the rich art, history, and cultures of Africa.

TLS families gathered for an afternoon Orioles game, enjoying baseball and time together as a school community.

Back at TLS, our elementary students celebrated the end of their summer program with a special dance performance for teachers, classmates, and families. As part of their study of different continents, students learned dances from around the world and created their own costumes in art class to wear during the performance.

We also celebrated an important milestone as our PreK-4 students graduated from Preschool. Surrounded by their teachers and families, they marked the end of one chapter and prepared to take the exciting next step into Kindergarten.

From June to August, we filled our summer with learning, exploration, and fun. Each experience gave our students another opportunity to explore their interests, build confidence, and make happy memories with their classmates.

Now, our students and teachers are enjoying a well-earned break before returning for the start of another exciting school year.

Thank you for making a summer filled with discovery, creativity, and joy possible for our students.
